You want to understand what WordPress page builder to use for the next project. But to determine this is quite difficult, since all of them have their own advantages and disadvantages. In order to help you make a decision brought a detailed comparison of these plugins. Let’s start.
Custom Fonts
The ability to set an additional font in the drop-down list is important for developers who do not need to constantly redefine other fonts using CSS. It also makes it possible to change this for a non-technical user who does not know how to write code.
Beaver Builder Custom Fonts

With the help of the code, you can add to the drop-down list the font that you want. This is available in the FREE version. For more information, follow the link to the official manual.
Brizy Custom Fonts

At the moment it does not provide the ability to add your own fonts, you can only use Google fonts. But as far as I know, they are actively developing on this feature.
Elementor Custom Fonts

This feature is given only to owners of the PRO version. But here you can add your own fonts from the admin panel, which any user can do without the help of a developer.
Inner Sections Maximum Level
Sometimes it is necessary to split one column of a row in order to maintain some structure. This is especially necessary when there are several of these rows in a section. Sometimes the level of attachment can reach up to 3, possibly more. The question arises, do you have to make a custom code or you can use the capabilities of the page builder?
Beaver Builder Inner Sections

Here you can add a row, in which the maximum level is 1. This will not allow you to create certain elements and will have to be coded manually.
Brizy Inner Sections

You can add 3 levels. This is still the best result. The last level is indicated by a different color – red, which allows you not to get confused when editing.
Elementor Inner Sections

In Elementor, you can set a maximum of 2 levels. But there is one feature here, even this can be called a disadvantage: to set the background for the entire width, you need to use one level, since there are only sections, but no rows. Therefore, in fact you only have 1 level if the section with the background.
Custom Elements API
It often happens that it is impossible to create any element using the available widgets. For this there is an API with which you can create your own elements. Let’s see for which page builders this is available.
Beaver Builder Custom Elements API

This plugin has additional elements called “modules”. If you want to create your own, then you need to create a separate plugin. An example of this plugin and further tutorials can be found in the documentation at the link below.
Brizy Custom Elements API

It uses elements that are called “elements”. This page builder appeared not so long ago, so they haven’t added this feature yet. But they plan to add it.
Elementor Custom Elements API

A separate plugin is created as well as in Beaver. But here the element is called “widget”. You will find a link to the documentation below.
Theme Fonts
Theme fonts – this term means the inheritance of fonts from the theme. The builders of the pages do not change those elements of the site that are not in their area. These elements include header, footer, blog, etc. For them, the font is set from the theme settings. In order not to install the fonts for the page builder a second time, default fonts were invented that simply take the theme fonts.
Beaver Builder Theme Fonts

You can set the default font in the text box settings and others that have text. It will inherit the font from the theme.
Brizy Theme Fonts

There is no such option yet. Therefore, you have to either duplicate the font, or set it with “!important”.
Elementor Theme Fonts

This page builder is still the best option, since you can enable it in the settings using the checkbox. If you turn it on, then the ability to change the default fonts is hidden from the settings. This will save you from unused settings and will not allow you to get lost in them.
Theme Colors
The theme colors are similar to the previous parameter, but they do not affect the text, but the color of elements such as links, buttons, text, etc.
Beaver Theme Colors

The color is initially set to transparent. This is the default value. If you click on it, you will see red. But it does not apply. If you want to return the default color, just leave the line blank.
Brizy Theme Colors

You cannot add a default color here. You can only specify a specific. If you do not want to constantly change them, you can assign them using style settings:

Elementor Theme Colors

Here you can also assign a default color. Leave the line blank if the color has already been set before, then it will inherit it by default.
Templates
Templates are needed so that you can easily copy the finished sections to other pages. In fact, it would seem that every page builder needs such an obvious thing, but it doesn’t occur as often or is inconvenient (For example, you can only make a template for a whole page). Below you will see where it is available in a convenient form.
Beaver Builder Templates

Templates for this plugin are available only in the PRO version. Until then, you will not be able to save sections and load them on other pages.
Brizy Templates

Click on the settings button and you will find the image of the heart. Clicking on it will save your section. You can download it in the place where a new section is added:

This button is located at the very bottom of your page.
Elementor Templates

In this plugin, the actions are very similar, as in Brizy. But the button is on the right in the form of a folder.

Global Templates
A global template is a type of template that is saved as a global object. If explained in a more understandable language, then when changing such a template in one place, it will be changed in other places.
Why is this convenient? For example, you created a section with a contact form and pasted it into several pages. Suddenly you wanted to change the background of this section or the form itself. With a regular template, you would have to fix it manually or save and copy again on all pages. With the global template, you simply change one of them, and the changes apply to all at once.
Beaver Builder Global Templates

It is available only in the Pro version. By saving the regular template that was in the previous chapter, you can convert it to a global one. Read more about this at the link below.
Brizy Global Templates

You can do this easily with the “Make it Global slider”. It is in the settings (the icon at the top right).

After that, a globe icon will appear in the upper right corner. According to it, you can identify the global template. You can insert it in the same way as a regular template, but it will be located in the Global Templates tab.

If you want to make one of them unique in the future, simply turn off the slider, and the changes will be applied only to it.
Elementor Global Templates

Available only in PRO version. Also allows you to add them to ordinary WordPress widgets areas (sidebar for example). For more information, follow the link below.
Background Parallax
Parallax effect is quite popular nowadays. Therefore, the ability to easily apply it to a section is important. It sets the mobility effect for the image when scrolling. Let’s look at where it is available.
Beaver Builder Background Parallax

Available only in pro version. Located in the background tab. Read more on the official website about this feature.
Brizy Background Parallax

In Brizy you can easily adjust the parallax effect. To do this, put some image and select an option from the “Parallax” list. There are 3 options available: “None” – disabled, “Fixed” – the image will remain in place when scrolling, “Animated” – creates an animation effect.
Elementor Background Parallax
Elementor does not support this function. You can configure it manually by connecting the necessary libraries or plugins.
Stretch Section
Among the compared page builders is available only in Elementor. This function stretches sections to the whole page, despite the container and other restrictions. This is convenient when there is no full-width container in the subject or you want to add such a section, but you don’t want to break or redo the whole page. In order to apply it turn it on in the section settings.

The slider is called “Streatch Section”. Just turn on it and it will stretch the section to its full width using JS.
Font Templates

Available only in Brizy from compared page builders. Allows you to specify global fonts, the styles of which can be quickly applied to the created text. You can also change them globally from this menu, and not by selection.

Font size, mobile adaptation, etc. Example of use: if you want to control the font of one type of buttons, then make a template for it and apply this style to the button text. Later, by changing this style in styles, the changes are applied to all buttons of this type.
Dynamic Content
Dynamic content allows you to take any standard data or taxonomy WordPress. For example: Title, Featured Image. In addition, you can take any taxonomy or field, for example, created using Advanced Custom Fields.
This provides great opportunities for creating custom page templates and posts directly from the page builder. Then, by copying a post or page, you can get an identical page, with, for example, a new title and content.
Beaver Builder Dynamic Content
Unfortunately it is not available in this plugin.
Brizy Dynamic Content

To add text files, enter #, then you will have a list of all possible choices. On another page, the value changes accordingly to another. For example, if a title is taken, then it will be on a page with a different title.
In other places, look for the database icon. It looks like a burger, see below.

You can set an featured image as a background for the section. You can also find this icon in other places.
Elementor Dynamic Content
White Label
Allows you to change branding to your own. An end user who is not familiar with WordPress will think that it was you who created this page builder. But I do not recommend, because the updates will be disabled and your client will use the outdated version.
Beaver Builder White Label
It is in the settings of the plugin. For more information, read the documentation below.
Brizy White Label

In order for the tab to appear add after “/wp-admin” this line: “?page=brizy-white-label”. You will have a new tab on the left – “White Label”. Click on it and enter the information you need.
Elementor White Label
Not available.
Convenience
Usability is rated as my subjective assessment. I worked with all these page builders as a developer, and I made some conclusions. My opinion may not coincide with someone.
Beaver Builder Convenience (+)

Everything is scattered and all windows have the same color. Not very convenient for me, because I want to have some subgroups or to make it more intuitively understandable. It is easy to get confused. Although there are advantages – this is what you can expand the settings window to the full screen and focus on it.
Also due to the fact that all windows are on top of the page, you can always see it in full size. I put 1 plus this page builder for convenience.
Brizy Convenience (+++)

I think at the moment the most convenient and intuitive page builder. This plugin was created not so long ago. They took into account the inconvenience of using the previous page builders and they did it very well.
The advantage is that there are 3 editing areas: left sidebar, right sidebar and popup. On the left are more general elements. In the pop-up window, the most important and frequently used settings that can be configured quickly without being distracted. The right sidebar is a deep setting, such as shadows, custom classes, animation. In addition, there are keyboard shortcuts that significantly speed up development. 3 plus.
Elementor Convenience (++)

Here all the settings are in the left sidebar. In some ways this is convenient, because there is no need to look for the next window across the entire work area. But vseravno it is not as convenient as in Brizy, because you have to go through the tabs in the left sidebar, instead of using something more convenient. I give 2 plus.
Popup Builder
You may ask why you need a pop up builder if there are separate plugins? But in fact, embedded in the builders of the pages, they can be edited using it, unlike the first, in which only the classic editor is available.
Beaver Builder Popup Builder
This is not available, so you will have to do this with other plugins.
Brizy Popup Builder

Click the button or text you want to link to. In the PRO version will be available the third tab, which is called Popup. In it you can add it.

Now you can edit this and add regular elements.
Elementor Popup Builder
Also available in PRO version and very similar to Brizy.
Header & Footer
In some builders, heders and footers can be made. Some of them provide additional templates and features, while others allow you to add them to every page on your WordPress website.
Beaver Builder Header & Footer
it will not work because the developers have not provided for this feature.
Brizy Header & Footer

Templates for headers and footers are available in the PRO version with the addition of a new block. Header has unique properties, such as fixed and stick position .
You can change a menu, logo, etc. But in Brizy there is no possibility to add them to each page. But you can use global templates.
Elementor Header & Footer
Similar to the previous one, but can be added to each page. Available in PRO version.
Pricing
The initial price ranges from $ 49 to $ 99 for the year of subscription and use on one site. For developers, it is definitely recommended to take versions with the ability to use on an unlimited number of sites. For site owners – depends on the number of sites you want to do.
